So here's the rough idea in cardboard with third on top. The scoop is not on nose,'cause I know where it's going, same with canopyThe battery compartment is temp capped to achieve shape. My main reason for this approach was a way to keep elecs in airflow ,but in a way that still created a good airflow for 3rd unit. I like Space1's cad layout as well.

Time to figure out the BATTERY for this beast. I'm going to put 3 AEO 55mm units w/4900kv brushless (max volts per unit is 11.1v... amps 18) running through 3 Escs. I didn't know if I should go to a 4S 14.8v to run the whole thing ,or higher. Anyone got 2 cents???? EDIT: Still looking at info for ESC size and battery.

What about ESC? I have seen twin 55mms run w/2- 12A. And I have seen a 45A on a 55mm. What would be best set-up?...a 20A on each?? I know that I will be programming each to top and bottom throttle position then either clipping or capping the center wire(the bec wire) on 2 of the ESCs.

I hear ya. I thought that a 14.8V with a constant discharge rate of 78a would handle it.
