hopefully I will find the time to start running this unit that I built using ideas from plans on the web, the heater is an electric grill unit (walmart sale 12.00) in the box is a shop vac motor(air discharge holes on the back side) the heater power is controlled by the toggle switch, the vac by the foot switch, binder clamps will hold the frames during the heating time.. (also have a resistance solder rig almost finished)

don't have the camera here today, but its an electric grill/bbq with a heating element looping through the bottom of the pan(unit is mounted upsidedown from intended usage) it also has a thermosatic control that is part of the power cord(just like an electric frying pan),

the element is exposed and has a reflector plate to help radiate the heat in the correct direction, most likely a better use for this unit than grilling food, kind of looks like an easy to assemble grease fire!!

the nice thing about this set-up that if the plastic would get over heated it will drop on the vac table and not into the heater.. besides the odds of using the new convection oven in the kitchen is so small that mr spock wouldn't be able to calulate..
