Well the 10 blades are blowing up at about 44k, so I doubt that the 12 blade will make it to 52k, but you never know. They may have beefed up the base of the blades.

And you are right about power. It would probably take over 4kw to get the 12 blade rotor to 52k.

It sure does sound nice though. At least the 10 blade does.

Don't get me wrong. I like the 10, and will try the 12 too.

Looks like the BL32 on 6s should be great with the 12 blade . I heard this motor can handle 7 s with an eflite 80 mm fan

the problem is the motor shaft is 5mm, stock fan comes with 3.17mm and 4mm rotor adapters :-'(

another thing is how big is the motor housing of the fan? only big enough for 28mm size motors????

Get Tamjets 5mm adapter, problem solved.
If you dont like Tamjets then get one from Extreme RC in Australia.
I have bought from both and can recomend both.

test stand of awesomeness - No numbers yet. Was too chicken to run it up too far without a proper stand so this run doesn't even make 1/2 throttle.

Changesun 12 Blade 70mm EDF First Run Up (0 min 36 sec)

Thrust seems good and sounds great. Sounds even more like a Dyson vacuum cleaner than the 10 blader should sound good in the Windrider 737.

2300KV motor - 5s 3300 40C batt.

Will do some numbers testing over the next few days and post.

lol yep. I was pretty keen.

The stand looks dodgier than it really is. There's no movement in the unit when spinning it up.

Like I said I'll run it up in a real stand and post some numbers

Thanks for posting the vid---sounds great, now lets hope there is less amp draw than the 10 blade for the same thrust, they advertize a new designed blade so I think there will be

RockApe make sure you try that fan out with the intake ring attached. You'll be surprised at the difference in sound and the increase in thrust. Next time please don't stand in front of the fan in case it decides to leave the motor - safety first!
