Woah! I put 2 in the cart and decided to cancel....
Will let you guys do the testing. Too many things on my plate.

Looks interesting though.

They quote a 2200kv motor for 6S and 3400kv for 4S.

Could these 12bladers have less load on motors?

This way, the mainstream motors used for 5-6bladers could be an option.

kV figures also too high for the 10-blade

the quoted kV numbers are wrong - for the 10-blade they similarly quote:

4s: 3400
6s: 2300

http://www.x-flight.com.hk/index.php...&more=&lang=en

so, if anything, the 12-blade will have a higher load from these figures (as one would assume anyway). We'll see, the blade pitch seems to taper more...

there are alloy spinner caps - only for the 12-blade.
- should fit the 10-blade as well, no?

cheers
Clemens

Blade count has nothing to do with the load of the fan. :-) (I assume they have designed a new 12blade unit and not just addes 2 blades to the 10blade unit.)

Looks like it. The picture with the blades show a shallower angle.

Got 6pcs on the way plus 2 metal spinners.

The HET 2W-20 might be perfect for 4S option.

fan = 59gr , alloy spinner = 16gr -> 75gr

+1, It looks to have a strong pitch on the blade tips?

To me it looks like the 12 blade has less pitch at the tip. The 12 blade also seems to have that hook type tip. Also the blades on the 12 blade look as if they are forward sweep while the blades on the 10 blade sweep back wards.
