9958 is T9X compatable and you will have no range problem. WL toys are to release V912/V922. One 200 size F/P other 100 size C/P . MSR is a good bird. So is Solo-pro 260A. I to have Super F/P and its quick and indoors not to easy to fly. I'll get use to it in bigger location. Solo-pro 260a/270a/328 are pretty good flyers and smoother than clones. Cheaper than blade helis also. Problem with Blade is price and RTF's come with crap TX's. You need to get DX6i. A good unit not cheap. Advantage of Blade is USA and parts are available from H/H . Spectrum equipment is very good. Some like to bash Walkrea but I am having more flying with their birds than anything I have ever flown in 5 decades. Plus enjoying every step along the way.

My all time favorite CP trainer is unfortunately discontinued... it was the Walkera V120D01 fixed pitch. The stabilization on it is very mild, so it "feels" like a CP in terms of hovering and slow maneuvering.

I have cobbled together a bunch of spares for my old V120D01 and am currently teaching my son to fly it in preparation for his first CP bird...

I got the V911 in the end and its a brilliant little heli.
AFter about a week of flying it the tail has startedto get a bit twitchy.

Sometimes twitches to the left so its pointing in a different direction. Does this on its own.

Any sort of fix for this?
