No problem on that, I came here because I saw 3DHK 51 slick. I am very interested in that model, but I looked too quick and actually thought it said 3DHS. After a while I realized I was in the wrong area.

Bye, I'm out of here. Happy flying to all.

Hate to say it, but it definitely looks like he got the last laugh on you... all the way to the bank based on the advertisers he has...
OMG... your first post? I don't know who anyone is any more. Sigh... I can't keep track. Guess I do have a low IQ... such a loser...

I'm beginning to think HK makes planes just to see the turbulence in rcgroups. haha

Looks like a cool plane but the scheme is very, ummm, alternate.

Andrew,
There are detail pictures on the HK web site. IMHO there can be no doubt that this plane is a direct copy. There are minuscule differences in some tiny details but these appear to be the result errors in copying rather than any attempt at original thought.

I don't blame you one bit for being angry, I think anyone would be the same under the circumstances.

Yeah.... who would have seen all this coming.....
Are you for real? You post something up, deliberately to rattle cages, with your own agenda to vent, then go back and edit a post or two when the guilt's hit, then get all "I'm thinking of closing this thread" when it derails, like your some sort of moral "enough is enough" judge..... Absolute Classic....
Haven't you homework to do.....

erkq, I really don't care what he does.... Upsetting dozens of people to right the wrongs apparently done to all his ""mates"" by 3DHS...
You won't find that post, edited way back.... I hope he got what he came for....

Steve, I don't think we are in a position to comment yet. I'm not sure how much design work AJ put into the AJ Slick, and I'm no expert on aerodynamics, but wouldn't things like airfoils of the wings and tail be difficult to tell from pictures alone? I've seen NACA numbered airfoil sections that, were they not laid over each other in a graphing program, would have been indistinguishable to my eye. Or how about inner fuse formers, which are covered by the film?

Personally I will wait until someone has one and posts measured comparisons with the 51" AJ Slick first. Then we can at least be more sure about the basis of our condemnation (or praise as the case may be).

Apart from that, I am also interested to see how this one flies. If it doesn't fly well (let alone like a 3DHS slick), then all our 200-something posts arguing about similarities based on pictures are moot! It'd be a crummy product simply on its own merits.

So... has anyone reading this actually ordered one?
