He'd probably be more effective talking to an empty chair. But knowing who the majority he was talking to consists of, he really was talking to over 200 empty chairs.

You can tell they're talking to an empty house when every single chair behind the podium is also empty.

it's pretty clear that Jindal is positioning himself for a run in 2016 and is already posturing message of social inclusion

I didn't support him, but he's one of only a handful of decent human beings in congress when it come to war.

Good Farewell address

"Today money in politics far surpasses money currently going into research and development and the productivity in to entrepreneurial efforts"

"Why haven't we given up on the drug war, its an obvious failure and violates peoples rights, has nobody noted that the authority's cant even keep drugs out of prisons"

"Why is changing the party and power, never a change in the policies?"

"Why do so many members defend free markets, but not civil liberties? Why doe so many members defend civil liberties, but not free markets?"

"All things peaceful, even when controversial should be permitted."

"The constitution established four federal crimes. Today the experts cant even agree on how many federal crimes are now on the books."

"We recognize that the individual shouldn't initiate violence, but than we give the authority to the government. Eventually the immoral use of government violence when things go badly, will be used to justify an individuals right to do the same thing. Neither the government nor the individuals have the moral right to initiate
violence against another. Yet we are moving towards the day when both will claim this authority"

"If the people are unhappy with the government performance it must be recognized that government is merely a reflection of an immoral society that rejected a moral government of constitutional limits on power and the love of freedom."

"The internet will provide the alternative to the government media complex that controls the news and most political propaganda, This is why its essential the internet remains free of government regulation"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul was way to morally consistent to be the modern president of the United States..

Had the GOP backed Paul instead of Romney as their presidential candidate, it would have been a very different campaign.

He was dismissed too flippantly. Ron Paul would have brought more experience than did either Romney or Obama, with his extensive professional, military, and political background. At the very least, there would not have been the chameleon style of flip-flopping that Romney incessantly practiced.

It would have been an extremely more rewarding election experience, with a possibly better result.

It's amazing really that Ron Paul can reveal to the non biased, just how much the democratic and republican party is about controlling others, instead of controlling ourselves.

The cheer leaders in the Obama camp for Obama really emphasize this. Then again what else would we expect from people that base everything on 100% of controlling others.

He did not lose due to the corrupt. He lost because he is not a good candidate for President. He never won a popular vote primary for President despite years trying.

What happened to Paul in the primaries? Why wasn't he the nominee?

Oh, sorry. In addition he never placed better than 2nd place in a primary election or caucus. His top placing in a state was 36% in Minn.
