Rare HP vt 0.21 - 4 Stroke PRICE DROP $65 SHIPPED
Alright, for as far back as I can remember this thing sat in a large showcase in my dad's toy room....he never actually used it, only display. I know next to nothing about old engines like this, but I will try to answer any questions I can. This thing is pretty sweet though and after some research I've learned it's actually a fairly rare 4-stroke. The shaft turns absolutely fine, no binds. Sorry for the bad pics, if you're really interested then I can e-mail you better ones with a better camera.
Ive seen that these go anywhere from $75 to $180, so I really have no idea what to ask. Im sure you guys are much more knowledgeable as to what a fair price is. Anyway, please feel free to PM me with any offer you may have. Paypal only please to the lower 48.

These are interesting engines with about the power of a .15. There is a muffler available from Mecoa for about $23. See quote below about the glow plug.
"The HP VT engines use a standard long glow plug. Don't use an R/C, 4 cycle, miracle or other plugs that have anything extending from the end. These plugs can hit and destroy the rotary valve. We won't cover this under warranty. Special note: Early VT .21's use a short plug. The early version can be identified by looking into the exhaust port. The early version has a brass valve rotating in a chrome sleeve so the valve look brass color. The later version .21 has a chrome valve in a brass sleeve."

Your motor looks like it was at one time mounted in a plane. The mount holes are enlarged a bit. Does this motor have some compression? You mention it turns over freely but no menton of any compression. I have two HP .49's the larger version of this motor. I am interested, even without a muffler.
