Anyone Got plans for a maxiswift lookalike. I Will try to build one of depron to use with my spare edf motor :-)
And fly it with 2200mah 3s battery

hey Donkanan, this is not a plan, but it is a calculator that will give you all the measurements and a picture of the wing, and you can then draw it out onto your foam its very easy to do, you open up the zip file then open up the kesel calc.exe file and then just put in the span you want and it will generate a picture with all the measurements for that span, then use your ruler to draw all the numbers and cut out, this is a KFM foil hope it helps

Hey doggit. I thank you for the thoughts. But i dont Think i am extérieures enough to scratchbuild Like That. I. Would rather try to make a wing That matches an exixsting one :-)
Mostly because it Will be alot easier to get In balance. Got to say

hi Donkanan, well i would say that to build a swift you will have to be able to use a hot wire cutter, and get an airfoil template, it takes some skill to do that, and have a look at the KFM airfoil thread, its the easiest foil to make as it is flat pieces added on top of each other, http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1117276
it does not matter which airfoil you choose to balance them, they are all the same to balance, and if you do scratchbuild one yourself, you can use the cog calculator here http://fwcg.3dzone.dk/

Getting a Maxi Swift build with no real plans might be a challenge though. Its not entirely flat, but has wings that are tilted slightly downwards. The foil has a sweet curve too, quite tough to match. Not impossible though. I'd love to see how far you'd get with this.

i didnt say i would build it from one piece. i want to cut out spans and make a profile bend of 3mm

hasnt anyone build a nice flying wing from only foam and carbon ?

the last week i have tried to find something like it

and you didnt find anything you liked , i am surprised at that, maybe you need to amend your choice, did you look at that KFM thread, there is nothing as simple as the KFM foil, or failing that buy a wing they are not expensive

Not in one piece, but the two wing cores will still need to line properly, preferrably with the curves I've mention and downward fold. I wasn't ever trying to disencourage you though. Built and have fun, you'll figure it out and part of it is doing the research you do right now.

I have fund a lot of pictures That i Like. But no plans for the actually build.

I Think i Would Like to build it Like If it Where balsa. Just use depron instead.

After searching some more ón kfm foils i Think i Will try the kfm4 but i cant find any plans.

Thank you very much everyone. I ended up building an ultra micro version with inspiration from the little wing called David and another wing made of a friend of mine :-)
It flies great with the guts from halfdead sukhoi :-) 400mm wingspan and a weight of 30 grams
I Think i Will go for a larger scale of it as a next project.

Try having a look at Leadfeather's Firefly, similar to swift, could suit your OP request, easy to build and fly great....
