Hi chuck I hardly used any of he supplied bolts so I had not given it must thought, I wrote it off as glow mounting bolts lol, of course that was useless to me, there are a couple of u shaped pieces of ply with can be used on the hatch, as for the other piece, NFI lol.

Just put my watt meter on the stick, on fresh batteries I got this data, G46 with tgs12x8 prop, 15.28volts, 54.7amps, 837watts, 9060rpm.

That's just over 150watts per lb. lol.

Thats higher than I would have expected on the 12x8 ? it should be way under propped

For 4s they recomend a 14x10 prop

and the rating are way under what you are pulling also
Max Current (A) 40
Power(W) 741

or is yours not the 670kv version like mine?

Yes golf all the other G46 versions are lower kv. The tgs prop has a wider blade tip than apce, so that might account for it ?.

I am a very proud Dad and have to share a pic with you guy's hope you
don't mind it's a little off topic

Cheers,

Michael.

just back from maiden flight and i must say i am impressed this thing flies great i just needed a few clicks of up trim and it flew hands free
very fast too, i guess i'm used to the old solid balsa Cosmos this light lazer cut modern version is much lighter

it rolls loops and goes straight up spinning for as long as you can see it inverted was easy as were the landings, the soft gear hung in there ok, just slight curve in them now haha also it came in fast and needed a lot of runway to land, might just be me getting used to it but all three landing were long

had 3 flight with her before the rain came and it was time for me to head home, really looking forward to my next outing with this one

cheers chuck

PS forgot to weigh it so i'll have to wait till next time as my mate has the scales not me

Over the weekend I put 8 great flights thru the Stick, it's a very sweet flying plane but the only downside was my hatch blew off on Saturday, so I made one only to have that blow off today, seems the magnets are not enough.

The stock undercarriage stands up well unless you make a rough landing, and not all my landings are perfect lol, although having said that, this plane on a nice day can fly in and do a 3 point touch down.

I took the gamble and ordered this as a strong replacement http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...idProduct=5578 so very close to the stock one but thicker, even the 2 mounting holes appear to be in the right place.
