Waiting to receive my Stick 1500 from the au warehouse, should be here this week, my order was placed on Friday morning and by 12.19 it was showing shipped, I know that I am not the only person getting one of these so all you other guys chime in and we can share set ups and experiences.

yep i'm in i ordered later in the day Friday so expect mine to show up by Friday i have already stripped the gear out of my old Cosmos ready to fit to the stick with hope this weekend.
One thing i will be doing before i fly is beefing up where the landing attaches to the fuse. Every ARF seems to have this as a real weak spot and i have already read this plane is the same.
the other thing is i'm going to have to try and change that covering job with some stickers as it looks, according to Corinne, god dam ugly!

But for $81 delivered WOW! the balsa, ply and glue would cost more than this whole model here

What sort of flying does the stick style plane excel at? never had one or really seen one fly, well except for small foam ones, hmm guess i better go look on the Tube!

be interesting to see all the setups on this one, for me i just wanted to replace an old plane i was given and i fitted it out with newer gear, but it's too oil sodden and soft and has some bad warps, so when i saw this for $67 it was a no brainer

hope its built stronger than my Extra as that doesnt bounce well

and how it flies, guess you wont have it ready for the weekend

and a word of advise if your using the G46 and mounting it with tubes like mine.

I took on on Satuday and had a bit of vibation, (new prop) did a circuit at half power and then nailed it for a vertical climb, get up a good way and suddenly something flew of and there was silence.
yep motor departed from plane was a little interesting to land

The mounting X that came with mine cracked throw where the motor screws go and the rest didnt stay done up, think I forgot the lock tight. I believe the use of washers to adjust thrust put stress on the X and it finaly gave up.

Motor recovered no damage apart from new prop broke fly it again yesterday

Only 7 of these left in au warehouse, they sold very quick lol.

Yahoo the Stick 1500 just arrived and while the box had taken a beating the contents are perfect lol.

Wings 617g one wing is slightly heavier than the other, 302/315.

looks good! hope mine is here tomorrow then i can build it over the weekend ready for a trip to the "Chicken Farm Runway" all parts are sitting here waiting as am I

the chinese builder must have been building both wings at the same time left eye on left wing right eye on right wing surely thats how they keep labour cost low? lol

just saw it is on board with driver best i go pick it up now as i don't think it will fit on his bike
