3 ch foam plane rolls hard when turning
Hi iv just built this foam plane from dollar tree foam its a 3ch with a 40'' span and the fuse is 27''
Im having a prob with it wanting to roll pretty hard and nose down when i turn is this a lack of dihedral or something else any help would help Thanks |

Yes, I also think it's a lack of dihedral. You'd get a better explanation from the gurus on the science forum

You want it to roll dont you? Or is it a uncontrollable roll? No dihedral and it would just spin in turns. The dihedral helps the plane to bank so it sorta simulates an aileron turn. Is this beyond a slight banking?

I put a lil more dihedral in the wing last night and flew it again it seemed to help for the most part but it still seems to fly a little bit weird ill take a vid. to show what im talking about

its 2.75" from the front of the wing my wing is 8" wide
is that about rite |

That v-stab is way too small. give it about twice the area and you'll be good to go.

are you talking about the rudder area or the whole tail end im new to this stuff sry

v-stab stands for Vertical stabilizer which the rudder is part of . Anyone else think 2.75 might be a little to far back ? did you use a calculator ?
