Plane is now at the targeted weight of 1450gr.
I planned for glassing, at the very beginning, back in december 2012, but this will add 100+ grams.

Probably the power to weight ratio, and wing loading would be acceptable with this added weight, but i'd like to enlarge my scratchbuilds step by step and learn from it ....

So the plan is: oracover transparant !

OOOoooohhh that is pretty.

Was skeptical about the inverted winglets (not functionality of course, but didn't think it would look good) but now it just looks right. Got to build myself one, maybe with a pair of tiny wheels in wheelpants on the winglet tips for asphalt landing. Kind of like what the Rutan Quickie has.

For asphalt, i was thinking you could use a piece of metal, 0,5-1mm steel just at the tips where it hits the floor, should be ok, maybe some sparks !

FZ3 build: RTF !

This is one nice RTF !

You open the box, follow the manual, a bit of glue here and there, and after 16 weekends, of you go!

Looking good Vincent, good luck with the maiden.

Is your motor a 2W-20?
