How does ESC w/BEC power receiver and servos?
I'm new to R/C and I'm building my first electric powered glider. I understand the theory of the BEC in the ESC, but connecting to the receiver is confusing, so please clarify; the receiver and servos will get power when the ESC is plugged into the throttle channel of the receiver and nothing is plugged into the battery terminals of the receiver. Do all receivers work this way or am I way off base?

In most all Rx's, the positive and negative pins are electrically shared.
