Think i diagnosed my performance problem. Was looking at back end of all my edfs today. Looking at the 15 i saw the motor was way off center. So took the fan off and sure enough the back end of motor was rubbing on housing. The blade tips too were rubbing. How this fan didnt explode idk. Finallt got the rotor out and saw the motor mount section was partially melted and no longer straight. Took the motor out and the backside of the mount had a melted in outline of front of motor. This shroud is done. Im thinking that when i had originally extended the wrong side of the wires and it melted wires the motor prolly got real hot too.
Edit. Had a cs shroud laying around. Filed down the dynam rotor to get it to fit. No rubbing this time. Plane back together and will test fly in a bit.
Edit. F15 flies again. I did a little intake work while it was opened up. Im sure the fan rubbing was main problem but its faster now. Will vid later today on 5s.
