Mine arrived in the mail today, it is now number 3 in my build schedule behind the new type II and the skipjack. perhaps in a year or so i'll get to it?

it is slightly shorter, and considerably narrower than the skipjack. I am building a 3.5" WTC for the skipjack, but have some 2.75" polycarbonate that i will be using for the XXIII.

Where did you get that type II from?

Tim's work on the Type II is absolutely fantastic. I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with Tim at the 2012 Regatta. He is a fine gentleman and a true master craftsman!

Looks like Bronco got a few things wrong on their new kit. You'll find lots of good information on needed corrections on the S-D forum from one of the most knowledgable Type 23 fans around.

you will only find photos if you are a member of the site, non-members see links to jpgs, and when clicked on, get a login prompt.

Don't see anything wrong with having to belong to a forum to see attached photos. From what I come across & have no problem signing up for, most of the free, non-sponsored forums are like that. At least one doesn't have to pay to view some of the more cherished parts of the forum but we don't need to go there.

As far as I know, David won't be posting a Cabal Report on the 23 since it takes far too much time & besides, he has better things to do, so if you want to see the pretty pictures, you had best sign up.

I like the way David and others document how they created an accurate propellor. Signing up is no biggie to me, it is free and like here there are a bunch of great people there, many of them are members here too. It is just another valuable resource for us RC submariners.
