When it gets here, I'll post some pics. Actually I'll start a thread for mine, as there's lots of you guys who can help, and I'd like some input from all who have the experience. Especially with late model components.

Guys it is heartening to see that the Victory is being well received and they are now getting into fliers hands.
It is nice to see that all of Tim and my work was worth it. More to come, I just received the first 2.2 meter all fiberglass single Victory and I saw the Twin which is almost finished. Trying to decide to make them electric or turbine

I'll keep everyone informed with the prototype building and first flights

I just started to assemble mine, both at the same time. The two piece tail section needs to be glued, no other glue is needed. The tail section fits together like a jig saw puzzle and no matter what, the finished tail installation will be aliened perfect.

I decided to use Hysol because the vertical stab contains the three servos and it doesn't fit perfectly flush with the body of the plane, there is a 1/16 gap after pushing it together. I'm afraid that one of my bad porpoise landings might break the tail off. LOL

I stopped before glueing in order to think, perhaps some trimming of the hidden guide pieces of the puzzle will solve the minor fit problem, or the clear Hysol will fill the gap..

Twin version Vicotry advice

I would like to recommend the owners of twin version Vicotry jet to do a easy modification of the main wheels for handling of rough runway. since I have found the rubber tires maybe come out during the high speed take off. It is my last time flying experience on rough run way event. For this issues, I suggest to move out both of main rubber tires and use the strong thin foam type 10mm double tape (one round) on the alloy hubs then put on the rubber tires again. It can be more secured to hold the rubber tire on the alloy hub. Of course, single version can be done same modification should be more better.

Hope all of you can be enjoy her flying performance soon.

Happy flying,
Thanks,
Tim
