Until they complete a full production run of 60 planes they will not know the real mfg. cost then a price will be set for the first 100 and norma retail price.

All that should happen in the next week or so

like it, looks well engineered, and yes, light enough to glass and overpower

Will the production version of the model have clear windows? On a model this nice (and presumably expensive), painted-on windows is kind of a letdown.

yes a fiberglass covered one has been built and flown. It added 12 oz to the weight and no change in flight performance that they could tell. Use 1 oz cloth only because it is crazy strong

The windows are stickers. Clear ones would just look white. They are looking at a way to do it with clear windows.

I would use 1/2 ounce, or 3/4 ounce cloth at the most.

I am just joining this thread and I can't wait to see this beauty (the Twin) on my club's runway. I have a Graupner version still in its box but I really cracked for this model. The only bummer will probably be the price, though.

Love the twin, but given the probable cost, and the style, I'd pop for the single EDF. That fuze looks nice and wide. So many of these larger size jets are packed in way to tight.

I do agree that this pane will not be cheap, remember you get what you pay for!!!!! The company does know that it is a foam plane and must fit the market segment but will be at the top.

I prefer the Twin myself but they both fly like a composite plane strong and straight. I hope the production ones come out as well as the pre production ones.

Quality is going to be important and I believe that Tim fully understands the companies requirement for TQM.

It is interesting that no one has even suggested what price something like this should retail for.

I think the RC group surely has an idea of what a plane like this should cost. I will pass on every comment to the guys.

thanks

we're afraid to actually see the number.....how to pay for it, how to explain it to the spouse, etc etc.
