big floaty setup like that might not give you the smoothest flights outside? and the prices??? think of crashing into things and repairs

might be a better idea to go as light and small as possible for fpv?

8inch props, 1200kv motors, 12a esc's, 2200mah 3s lipo, light small frame = minimal damage from light fpv mishaps all of the above should come in around the same price of just the lipo in your current setup

well you got massive props spinning slowly, generating much lift and also catching much air like a kite? when time comes to tune you may find that setup works great INDOORS but more than 5mph winds and you might well need to be a pro a fine tuning setups? like a years building experience?

might have a much more stable setup with 10 props at 4 or 5s as the props will spin a lot faster?

ever spun a spinning top and noticed how much more stable and rigid it is the faster it spins? dont think cash can buy equipment that defys physics but you welcome to prove me wrong

here is a vid of me flying in around 20mph winds with a well tuned 10inch prop setup

Quadcopter Rockley Sands Poole UFO N-DROID S Ultimate Ground Effect Final Test N3M1S1S (16 min 50 sec)

here is not so well tuned 12inch props in 10/15mph wind IF THAT?

N-BT1 quadcopter wind tests need help to fine tune PID settings for wind N3M1S1S (11 min 11 sec)

now search youtube for 16inch props quads and post what you find vs 8inch props quads

jyour welcome and remember im NOT trying to put you off your idea im just trying to make what you want to do as easy and painless as possible

bt my latest builds? 8inch props and very cheap $6 motors lol

The Pocket Quad Quadcopter very stable in bad weather N3M1S1S (7 min 55 sec)

and strangly enough the fpv quad i am building as we speak? 8inch props 1100kv motor 10a esc's pretty much the same as in the vid but much lighter now due to some new ideas i been working on once finished i am hoping for a weight reduction of around 40%

I get 15 minutes out of my 450 quad with DJI motors, Graupner 10x5 and a 4s 5000mah pack. It hauls a Go Pro camera and all the FPV equipment as well.
