And i dont know the agony yet as i am new to the hobby, and havent had the unfortunate experience of a lost craft. I can imagine the heartbreak of loosing something you put so much time in and had experiences with. Im a sentimental kinda guy. On this plane, did you disconnect the lipo? Damaged lipos can be dangerous.

And mnemennth is right. Have him bring out his tx it is dead certain he's the owner if it's already bound to the rx.

They make medicine for that.

I know this sounds fancy, but I always label my planes with my name, address, and phone number along with my AMA number. I bought those labels from AMA for this, they are neat and fuel proof. Can easilily be hidden too.

HHHMMMM If they are hidden, how is the party that found the plane going to find them

LOL, most cases its going to crash, and crash pretty hard. I typically put mind under the center of the wings where the fuse is. At least in my past crashes the wings almost always came off, or detatched at least

wing is still on and the piece that covers the batt compartment is gone. I'll take the wing off and see if its under there. Yes i took the lipo out. it was puffy and leaking when i found it so i discarded it quickly.

Nope it is mine. It has got a evo 46 engine and a futaba system that is a piece of junk. Had just filled up the tank and flew 250 miles on FPV before it lost connection. Highest quality FPV money can buy.

I have no plans to assume ownership. Im a new flyer with No ability to fly/crash this craft. I will keep it safe until i hear from him. Then next season i will keep taking it with me to the Fenton field. eventually i should run into the guy.

im realy surprised i havent had any "crank" calls on my phone number that i left at the field. Maybe...just maybe there are good people out there!

There generally are I think when it comes to planes. I think it's the fact that we would all like to have our planes returned should they ever get lost. I know I've spent at least a few combined hours helping fellow fliers walk fields and wooded areas looking for planes, as well as helping them get them down from trees.

I have lost one plane so far, only found a little chunk of orange foam from a PZ Extra 300....

Skydvejam, Maybe it was found by a wood gnome. He/she may have been leaving you a trail ...

I'm with some of the others... If the guy would get with it and follow the AMA instructions to ID his plane properly, it would be a piece of cake to get it back to him...
