I can't see myself with one of these.....interesting to see interest from a new.
I see that all the spares are listed ...Rotor blades 400 X 45 composite and foam...as well as the head assembly....now those parts, I may try.

Huh. Mine just shipped directly from China. Didn't even get a notification, probably bypassed HK's notification system or something. No tracking no. though.

If it is actually a proper shipping and not a fluke, I'll post pics up... EMS from China / Hong Kong to Singapore is usually 3-4 days, so there's a good chance I'll get it by the weekend. Otherwise, Monday

I had the other HK gyro, the Cierva semiscale. She flies very well, but a bit heavy and tricking to find the correct blades angle, I suppose this one had just ailerons on the plate, so it sounds really easy to setup and fly.
Some pics of my Cierva:

This really has me interested. I have been looking at Auto-gyros for about a year now and this seems like a good platform to start with.

One of the HK admins chimed in on a comment on the discussion page and said something along the lines of "new orange rx transmitter, stay tuned" (not exact words but the gist of it anyways) did you see the new dsm2/dsmx module?? Already ordered one of those as well

I did

it makes me want to order a module and Turnigy 9X

but

I'll wait to see what this new TX is.

I would guess its 6 channels, but

I hope its more like 8

I want a DX8, but, if HK makes a cheaper as good alternative, I'll spend less money and have some spare cash to spend on other toys lol
