Thanks

Personally I did add this:

Also used a buddy code, for get 4cent discount ... ... so 20cent extra (actually I need the little stuff for my hely ) ... and I got 22.85$ shipping to me.

Thanks for your help guys.

I tried adding the rubber grommets, but made no difference to me, so I went online to "chat" with someone from HK. He said that I wasn't getting any other options because I had also selected a lipo. Sure enough, if I removed the lipo, I got a cheaper option ($36, compared to $43).

Eventually decided to go with the lipo's and the expensive SCS Express postage.
Will be interesting to see how long it takes to get here (UK).

Cheers

Ian

Yes ... if you have LiPo .... anyhow LiPo it is not allowed by normal Air Parcel ...

Personally I like to split if possible into multiple shipping, a small package normally is not custom charged ... a large one is almost always custom charged ... (but maybe in UK rules are different)

Custom add 30% of cost + delay ... so ...

22.8$ shipping it is for this autogyro only ... since it is already almost 1.5kg ... so if you add something else .. you may easily go above 1.5 or even 2kg ... and more expensive shipping will kick in ...

ps: Today I just got the ASK-21 2m glider PNF from Lindinger ... @ 99 shipped .... sometime the "old" europe online shop can compete with price with HK ... the same ASK-21 PNP, once added shipped cost more, once added custom it goes well higher in price ... as well 1 week shipping time only ... anyhow .. just for say I have already something new for play now ... while waiting for the AutoGyro

Looks like it uses a conventional elevator instead of pivoting the head fore/aft. Why? A simpler head arrangement, easier for beginners to fly?

They have a nice video posted showing takeoff, flying, loop, and landing.

Constuction time on my Doozy a/gyro kit has been stalled a bit, so I ordered one of these to hold me over. Hope they get spare blades & such in stock soon!
dunno why, but it's sweet

Using normal Air Parcel, I would expect 1 week time for move the JIT to main warehouse, and then around 2 weeks air shipping time + maybe 1 week delay for custom. ... so ... we are speaking in a range of 4 weeks for get in Europe ...

But .. if you got for 56$ EMS, you may get next week ...

A me serve per prendere mano prima di collaudare il bestione. Il Cierva vola moooolto appeso ad un filo, il motore non il massimo e il modello veramente pesane... Investo in qualcosa che sembra pi sano...

Well, I guess you'll find something to use with

Better one more pack than no battery at all

Sembra il set-up che va per la maggiore. Io lo provo sul dag. Alla fine quello che mi interessa il risultato finale.

BTW...
