The guy in that video also flies a ZYX-S in his X5 and at one stage in his Trex 550E. I've always liked his flying style.

This gyro is no longer available! Maybe because the chip sets they were using stopped production a while back or trade rights.

That's sad. So the candle of the VCTRC burned brightly, but only briefly..... and one day (soon?) David will be able to open an FBL controller museum......

Both VCTRC own website and their alibaba site are either shut down or have no products listed. Not sure what is going on...

Quick update. Per Sam from VCTRC they shut down the alibaba website because they were not making much money on there. They will reopen their own vctrc.com website soon and you will be able to purchase direct from them there. Finally they are also working with their supplier still for the new version of the 3gx..presumably Bigaole.

They are just waiting for new stock of the version without the discontinued 2 axis MEMS chip.

What sensors are available for them to use? Single axis or one 3axis sensor?

They can use 3 single axis MEMS sensors, which require little to no changes to the firmware (but hardware wise two additional PCBs) or a 3 axis MEMS sensor that would require a significant firmware change and a new layout of the current PCB.
