Not turnerm, but glad to see you here finally. Couldn't believe you weren't all over this thing. My 2 cents worth if you can put any stock in it, is that thus far 15mph wind is no problem for this bird and you know that I'm not a windy weather flyer, or didn't used to be. Had it out several times in 10-12 mph with gusts to 15-16 with no problems. On wednesday several at our field and one guy had his 43" eflight extra, 10-12 mph with some slightly higher gusts and everyone there was surprised that the 26" Edge didn't seem to be bumped around any more than the extra. I've not tried it in any more than 16mph or so, but for me that's probably like you at 30 mph, and it was no problem whatsoever. This is one amazing machine. It will fly slower than the Sbach, but not the Beast, and does not fly like a micro, it will glide and those with the experience claim it flies more like a balsa 3d plane. You really need to try it.

Keep in mind that the issue of wind also depends heavily on how you fly the plane. Most of my flying is post stall type stuff so wind is going to be a major factor on smaller planes when in harrier or hover.

For sport flying... I'd say that this plane will perform just as well as the 3D Beast in winds up to say 15mph or so. If the winds approach 20mph I wouldn't think any plane would be a whole lot of fun to fly regardless of the size but that's just me...

Says who?
With throttle management and nice full throttle passes of a few seconds it could be a fun little buzzer!

On the park 280 which is all that matters. The plane has no bearing on it. Like I said give it a try and trash your plane. How do you know I haven't tried it on this plane already.

Think ill try the APC 7x4 ,, and yes they do make a 7x5. On my 300 zero I fly 3S with a 7x6 and a 10amp ESC with no problems whatsoever ,, so I'm thinking a 7x4 on this plane shouldn't be a problem. :-)

-1.
Don't be scared of the wind!
The Beast 3D and Mig 15 can EASILY fly in 20 mph winds.
Even the Albatros DVa was flyable in similar conditions(have posted video elsewhere).

Watching this one with great interest...

It's not the same motor in the Zero. The Zero has less KV and that means you can have a bigger prop and less amps. I'd be real careful running the 7x4E on the 10amp. Move up to a 12amp to be safe.

It's beginning to become clear you have no idea what you're talking about. Go right ahead.
