I found it pretty easy to see, I did get blinded by the sun a few times but the blue on the bottom seems to really stand out. I like the color scheme on Kirby Chambliss red bull edge, might have to paint it someday after some rash gets to it. It reminds me of the red bull race planes when you fly it, it would be great to pylon race with others! It does knife edge pretty well.

I'm a little surprised they didn't make it a Red Bull scheme. They worked with Red Bull on the new Blade heli. So they have a relationship with them. I like this scheme a lot but a Red Bull would have killer for me.

It looks good stock, kind of has a pa 57" katana scheme going on, I like it but I would have bought 2 if it was a red bull scheme. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for a special red bull edition.

I thought about that. Not to let my qq brothers down though... Some epoxy, tlc and had her back in the air in 2 hours for five more flights. I flew around my house in downtown Chicago and folks were VERY interested.

The police drove up... And started yelling at me but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

As they got closer I realized they were yelling: "why are you doing so much talking... FLY IT!"

I love this plane and this hobby. True story.

She is getting more dialed in now. Really wanted to pull to belly on KE but have almost mixed it all out.

Gotta be honest, I'd buy another one tomorrow. I have named the little pilot MAC. His last name is ROE. He orgins are somewhere in Japan...

just asking about the mixes

Yeah im just curious i havent got my edge yet still in the mail ordered from Hobby Zone.com, with a second battery thats a stock eflite 450mah. Im just alittle nervous i hear about using the ailerons as a separate servo and mixing for flaperons,i can fly sport planes and a little 3d with my beast 3d but my skills are no where near the video for the edge 540qq by eflight. Anyhow does anybody know there rates like there low rates dr/ex and where there flying there edges CG at. Im just really excited about getting my hands on this bird, i know its probably in the manuel but any help with dr/ex and programming flaperons in my dx6i and CG always help a year and a half old flyer whos mainly been flying the beast 3d and the sbach 3d lately which are easier to setup. Sorry for the long question any help would be appreciated, thanks DrewC

No, but Alex I'm starting to wonder about gyros that would work. Any ideas?

Hopefully hh will incorporate as3x into nano, park, and full range receivers. I'd imagine you could take an as3x board for now and solder a new esc, similar to a brushless conversion for a mcpx.

I've beenflyin my ol' trusty Futaba 9c with spektrum module for all my BNF stuff. I'm wondering if it's time to succomb to the dark side and get a DX8 or something. I hate having to figure out the futaba programming for everthing when you can DL setups for the dx's and just fine tune from there. Easy peasy!

I wonder about using the HK 3 axis gyro system--
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=25448

the eflite stock receiver and servos uses tiny micro connectors so one would have to do lots of soldering or a conversion adapter for each plug
when connecting to the HK 3 axis gyro system.

I believe when using this gyro system you need 4 short leads as well
