No issues to report on the APC 7x5E w/stock esc.
Said the plane felt fast but he wants faster.

While 7x5 would be faster--I wonder if 7035 is better for slower flights, better for hover, better for harrier. The 7x5 probaby pulls out of hover better. He was almost at my elevation--so 7x5 might be good for me too. Getting more cooling easy w/o spinner or moving ESC underneath.

Thoughts?

APC 7x5 probably much more of a speed prop.
I'm throwing a GWS 7035 on my Edge this week.
I'll be flying both planes when Torye returns to Twin later this month.

I would think just not use spiner but not sure beware of throttle as ur pushing the stock esc. Maybe motor to depend on elevation. Video, video we got what about ten ppl here where videos. Soon i get mine i be boring you guys with videos lol got to get to the 200.mark on my youtube channel

PM sent...

"The motor shaft prop adapters that come with the APC 7x5E have too large of holes for the Edge motor shaft.
Torye found a smaller plastic adapter that worked perfectly.
He had to lightly trim the plastic spinner with an exacto knife to fit over the new prop."

You'll need prop adapter eflm1920 or you can get 2 machine screws to replace the set screws on your stock prop adapter and turn it into a prop saver. I think you'll 2.5mm metric screws, and you'll need a .05" allen wrench to remove stock prop adapter set screws.

The park 340 barely fits! I will do some testing hopefully tomorrow. The park 340 weighs 30g with motor mount, no prop adapter. The prop adapter that comes with the park 340 weighs 7g, a bit heavy.

The only drawbacks of being Canadian are that your football season is already over and there's nothing to do but fly RC since the NHL is locked out. How much junior A can you watch?

My $275 edge 41" has hitec hs65hb servos, recommended omega motor, HK Mystery ESC.
+1! It can easily be done and fly just as good if not more powerful with that motor.

2 setups for 3dhs edge 41" < $200.

The park 340 is powerful! On a apc 7x4E it pulled 160.8 watts and 15.2 amps! It's also much quieter and smoother than the park 280, no vibrations either! It also pulls 20 ounces thrust on that apc 7x4E, a big jump from 12 ounces thrust stock! The AUW is 8.5 ounces with park 340, apc prop and thunder power 325mah 65c. I can probably get it to 8.25-8.3 ounces if I ditch the 7g prop adapter and use a prop saver instead.
