Anothe 500 w/beastx update.

So far i have 6 flights with the 2801 setup, and no signs of signal loss.

After changing the beastx control paramater to 'pro', and adding some gyro gain with dial 1 on the too of the unit, i'm now feeling better about the control response and hover stability of this setup. It was still windy, steady at 15 and gusting over 20 at times. It took me a flight to get used to the amount of counter pitch i needed to add while i was flying around. By the last flight i was very confortable with the heli. But i ran out of light, and it was getting hard to see the orientaion when it got to high or to far. Im gunna fly it like this until the time come to make any further changes. Like i said before i dont want to spend too much time playing with settings, and the beastX set up made this possible. I cant wait to get the 450 pro hooked up to its beastX.

By the way, i'm looking for a 2801 pro rx for the new 500. If anyone has one thats no longer needed, i'll buy it off you. Pm me....

I can start shooting vids of the 500bx now that its set, so i'll have some vids to post by next week.

Dude, the part where you went up to the tree really scared me--I was praying you'd land in one piece.

If you pass gas while hovering mine, it will blow it away. I need to tear it down and see what's going on. The 370 is a lost cause I'm afraid, just bad electronics or mine is bad, at least.
It's all good shahram. Don't know about the 370D01,but the Madhawk300/cb180 was and still is a great 4ch fp helicopter on the contrary to your reply about it being one of Walkera' worst products. I just simply disagreed with it.

I did have a 370 before and it was flying really good for a while....until it start acting crazy ,I did not tinker with the rx and tx and got really sick of it and just forget 'bout it....not worth my time...at least got some good flight on it.

Sorry 'bout your 370....just move on ,there are way better helis out there.

Hi guys, I just finished transfering all of the electronics from my fully brushless V400D02 to a 'Hybrid 450 Pro.' I want to share this with you all, and so I have put all the details in navigator2011's blog.

Thanks COCO, I have not yet gotten up to speed with creating videos of my flying. I need to, though.

That's a great detailed blog of the mod, nice job there!

I also am looking forward to seeing some vids from you. Don't think i've seen any yet, common now, it's been long enough! It's pretty easy, just set up a youtube channel and upload vids there. You can set your phone up like i did at first and just try to fly in front of the phone while it takes a vid.

again, nice work on the walkthrough of the mod!

Thanks Dilberto. Trust me when I tell you, though, my building skills are far more interesting than my flying skills. No, seriously, it's true.

Awesome Job nav. Looks just like mine. I also used the tail assy for mounting the tail motor. Works great. Just dont forget the loc-tite.
Have you flown a maiden yet?

well, one needs both for this hobby, so it's good you're an expert at one and probably better than you think at the other!!

and while my flying and building skills are slowly going down the drain since i'm waiting on my helis, i decided to make a vid of the devo 7 with my mini cp settings, and tried to explain all that i could along the way. I know you don't need that info, but for anybody that comes across this thread, here is the link to the post that i made in the other thread for the Devo 7 tx:
