Just a couple weeks ago I sold a like-new RealFlight Basic simulator for $50 shipped. So check the classified forum here on RCG for other perfectly good sims for cheap. At this stage in your learning curve, a sim is an invaluable asset as it will teach you to fly 4-channel and save you a small fortune in airframe replacements, props and such.

brother just bought one ,the rudder pushrod was so long ,i had to put a v bend in it to get
rudder to center, instead of still to left whith full right trim.
control throws did seem to be excessive .

Is that 32 inch span?if the span is that small, it may be a bit difficult to control, but with easy-to-repair foam, and time on the sim, you may luck out and find flying a breeze.Good luck!

Alibongo,
this is the same , easy trainer.
I had a small break in wind on sunday, just long enough to get to the park. as i hand launched i could feel the breeze pick up. this thing is SOOOO nose heavy! way out control. dolphin i think is the term. got it back down and switch the battery positistion and it wasnt much help. had to trim elevator all the way up. still the wind was kinda gusty so im not sure if it was the wind or the plane. proly both! the CG on this thing cant be right. i went off the instructions but that puts the battery right on top of the push rods and as i said didnt help all that much. Ill read up on some more COG post and see if im missing something.
When i check the CG it seems more closer to the middle of the wing and the instructions have it at the leading edge.

mdugas,
keep me posted on the 182, let me know what you think of it, if you dont mind.
i have two FMS planes now, I know im really new and have no exper or tranning, but compared to the hobby zone champ. these planes arent very fun!
i got the easy trainner up but if you guys would have seen the flight you would try to have be banned from the sport. lucky i know when eough is enough and brought the two flight down before it got really ugly.

The plane you mentioned is neither EASY nor a TRAINER. That is Banana Hobby's ploy to get newbies to buy the plane. Great to see you started with a Champ though solodare. Good luck with the "easy trainer."

chucksolo,
thanks for clearing that up!
Nothing is as fun and easy to learn as that little champ.
Its the plane so nice that i bought it twice!
no realy, i beat the first one so bad i got another just incase but so far the old one is still crusing just fine. its not as good as when i got it but its been in 7 trees and countless crashes, impacts from the side of the house to a football goal post. Its still FLYING HIGH! I love that thing.
