To me it seems the main advantage is maneuverability, it appears to be able to turn much tighter and quicker.

Another Parkzone plane that is better than anything out there and it still gets all the negative comments. I can't wait to get mine and modify the crap out of it, already told my LHS to get me one as soon as they come out. I'm also hoping PZ brings out a Mini Ember, that would be sweet or I'll wave to build my own.

HH job: design airplanes
Our job: complaint about them
HH job: make airplanes slightly less than perfect
Our job: find something we can modify (it's what's this hobby is all about!)
HH job: manufacture and distribute airplanes
Our job: buy them because they keep making them better and better
HH job: Thinking about the next waves of airplanes they will throw at us

Well Put, but you forgot a couple.
HH job: visit RCG's, see what we want and are willing to pay for it.
Our job: bitch, moan and wait impatiently for the damn thing to come out.

well thats a nice surprise, just had a knock on the door and it was the delivery man with two boxes for me, one was my new Habu2 airframe which i knew was coming but the other was a total surprise yes i now have a "Parkzone Mini Vapor" photos and an un-boxing vid to come, looks like a nice little indoor flyer.
Having never owned any of the Vapor style planes this will be a first for me
Corinne always loves watching how graceful the Vapors are when we head to the indoor sessions so she is just going to love this one, wonder if i could get her to fly it

anyway i'll get to it as soon as i can

cheers chuck

Corinne is a pro for following fast and twitchy airplanes with a camera, I'm truly wondering if she will be able to do a nice video with something so slow!

So do you have a large living room? Garage? If so, we won't have to wait for some nice weather for that video!

The more I look at the graphics and scheme, the more I hate it. Not the plane mind you, just the gawd awful color and stars and such...

Still like the little fella though, just considering my recovering options

Chuck,
Can you get some close up pictures of the servo brick? A couple from a couple of different angles would be good. If you can measure the length and diameter of the servo motors that would be most excellent information.

Thanks,
Gordon

Spare parts for the Mini Vapor include:

6mm Brushed Motor
(PKZU1216)

Gear Box: 6mm motor
(PKZU1227)

Not sure if these are the same as for the regular Vapor, as I don't have that plane. Definitely NOT the same part numbers for the Ember motor and gear box. Begs the question, could one fit an Ember motor to the Mini Vapor? For that matter, could one fit a UM J-3 Cub motor (6mm, but hotter than Ember motor) to the Mini Vapor? Sounds like the beginnings for a Mini Vapor Modifications thread!! Time will tell. According to HH, the M-V not available until late November.

Chuck: Picture of the battery, and the battery IN the charger. Look like it's the same charger as usual (looks like the other 14 I have in a box somewhere...). If that's the case, the small battery may be fun to insert and remove?
