The original Vapor Bricks were 3.3g
Then New AR6400 based PKZ 3351 bricks have porked up 3.65g It would be cool if this was a new, smaller brick that got back to 3.3g Brushless mode would be cool, too. |

The "flying" shot is a typical fake marketing photo overlay. They could have easily photoshopped out the elevator rod by mistake. |

I noticed the missing rudder control rod too.
Personally I doubt it's possible to drop the weight from 15g to 9.5g mostly with a lighter motor and battery. I'm not sure the rest of the weight reduction can come from the airframe. But, you never it might be possible. However, I suspect it's a combination of lighter motor/gearbox/prop/battery + lighter airframe + brick lighter than 3.3g in the original Vapor. How much lighter? Only a bit. One way would be to go to servo motors smaller than 4mm diameter. Gordon |

could this be the ultra light, slow tight indoor flyer we've always wanted?
I know there is the carbon butterfly, but something that is spectrum would be fun as well |

I'm confident the 8.6gweight is without battery.
3.3g for brick +3g for motor/gearbox/prop would leave no room for an airframe with wheels if a 2.5g battery was included. |

I think it's real thing that got killed for whatever reason, perhaps it was found it would eat into the Night Vapor market, thus competing with itself for no real benefit.
Agree with UNGN's assessment, the 8.6 g weight is feasible w/o battery, the prop looks like a Citabria prop and that alone is .82 grams lighter than the Vapor prop. Short can motor and there's another gram saved. Smaller frame and it adds up to ~9 grams. Looking closer at the photo it's obvious there's two servos on the board, the elevator pushrod just happens to be in front of the main carbon frame and thus invisible. |
