Looks like a very nice field!

The postal address above doesn't work too well with Google Maps. It took me to a field east of the one in the KMZ file, on the south side of the road. I found that the address, 21793 E Colonial Dr, Christmas, FL, works best with Google Maps.

It's about 1750 feet east & west, and about 700 feet north & south. Nice!

I rechecked the address on Yahoo maps and came up with 22307 E. Coloniel (hwy 50) Christmas FL
This is where the entrance to the field is, there is a turn lane if you are coming from the west.
You drive thru the main gate go for about 1000 ft, the entrance to the flying area is on the left, looking at the areial map, that would be the north east corner of the field.

You might consider bring your "Soaring Contest" signs along. I'll volunteer to help transport them if you don't have room in your vehicle. Paul, Dan, and I will be in town on Friday.



On another note, horse #7 is scratched in this race. I talked to Ray Alonzo today and he definitely can't make it.

I need to know who is going to be flying on 72 MHz, and what channel, going to coordinate with the Rocket City club which is about 2.4 miles to the north, I don't think it is going to be a problem, just to be courteous to them!

I plan to come over on saturday. Need channel 08 which is in the ham band. Do we have some way of knowing that a channel will be unoccupied for the day? I did not realize that the other club was so close. Need some assurance that there will be no common channels!

Something has come up from my end. I have to work so I cant make it at 2:00pm. I think 3:00pm is more likely.
