UAV CG calculation
Hi Dear team.
I am a polytechic student, I'm doing a UAV modification which I am adding landing gears, fuel systems and even a bigger motor. I don't know how to do the CG calculation and even the consideration in modifying the UAV.. I hope to get a good advice from all of u. MY UAV is N15 category with Inverted V-tail configuration. |

1. Model the plane in SolidWorks or 3D Studio Max. It will tell you where the CG is, if you
correctly created all the components, as far as mass and size. 2. Or, just build it, and see where it balances! |

I was going to suggest that if you aren't changing the overall geometry of the aircraft and are just doing modifications to an existing flying aircraft, then mark where the CG currently is and make sure your modifications don't move the balance point.
