There is currently a mode 2 and mode 3 version. We are considering mode 1 as well at the moment but we will go ahead first with the universal converter allowing you to use your favorite radio (e.g. your Futaba, JR or Spektrum radio).
Our next production run will have mode 3 produced. After that there will be another lot of mode 2 versions.

The converter will be compatible to all previous sold units. We plan to have it released by Q4/Q1 2012/2013.

What mode are you looking for?

Personally I believe it outperforms any other product currently on the market. But, you better don't listen to me We have shipped several samples for review early this month including members from RCG as well as Flitetest, among others.

Most of the reviews should be out in a week or so. We are very anxious waiting for the results too.

But, what will surprise you most if the performance flying outdoors even in rather windy conditions. The performance is clearly exceptional. It is related to the added power and weight while retaining long flight time performance.
We maximized the power by using 2S LiPos's, thus lower rpm to preserve battery power. I have been flying that little beast myself in real strong winds. You won't believe it.

Maintenance is easy. Motors can be replaced with just a simple screwdriver and a spare motor that comes together with a pre-installed connector. No soldering whatsoever. Hope that the reviews will show/explain this part.

But - as I said - get your own opinion. Let me know in case that you should have any further questions.

I am looking for an indoor quad that will be robust enough to fly (crash) outside too.
Had a MQX which burnt its little motors out quite quickly. So a more repair friendly quad would be so much better for me.
Thought about the Husban X4 ,but was put off by the DirectSource4u fiasco..Sooooo....I think this quad is for me.
My question is..........Is This not the same quad but with a different canopy?
Although it is quite expensive from this shop, there is a link to the manual in the downloads tab, if anyone's interested.

Prior to that, already being very limited, we shipped samples for product reviewing and for our fair activities. We promise that you will be able to "find" your RC EYE much easier starting this November. We keep you guys posted.

Here you may still be able to grab one (no promise since they are going fast):

We are currently working with some retailers in Canada that will stock the EYE One. As soon they get them in I will shoot you a note.

As for mode 1, I am not totally sure on this. However we are making a link so pilots can use their prefered Tx.

We will update here as soon as info is available.

The EYE One has a flight leveling accelermeter built into it. Thus when the pilot let's go of the sticks the eye levels itself out. Is this what your interested in?

So I got mine today, but it says not to use a computer or laptop USB port to charge the battery. I have a cigarette lighter to USB converter. Do I have to use this every time?
