I do not understand your comments, you can tell me more I wanted to make it simple because I love what I do, I can buy it on hoppyking for 15 to 40 usd., but interesting feeling when successfully made it more value for money design of the circuit, I'm pretty good, but the programming of the chip is so bad, I have read many books on the chip programmer for pic, avr, 8051 .... but still not quite up to it. . it interfere very much my rc projects |

hello all
I've found this article about the problem of the author Takao Shimizu http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...00567&page=105 # post8056614 he use 8051f330 chips, this is a new chip designed brushless esc, I hope that he has the time to visit and share with us about this project |

I believe the Atmel web site has several application notes for designing an esc for cars.
Airplanes use sensor-less ESC's which have very little starting torque and would not work very well in a car. Basically a sensor-less motor is only good for powering propellers. For a car a sensor-ed motor is much better and the ESC is actually simple. In fact you do not even need a micro as simple logic will work. For example the MC33033 is a complete controller chip for sensor-ed motors. See http://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/MC33033-D.PDF |

hello mjas
the use of Section 33033 can control motors, but its function is little, can not run reverse and brake.so I think it is not feasible I've checked type esc brushless car hoppyking, they often use the chip 8051f 330, instead is atmega 8. what this is not difference ? |

In any case, I mentioned the MC33033 to show how simple it is to control a sensored motor. I would not use the MC33033 as it would be much simpler to program a micro to do the whole job. With sensors you do not need to mess with start up and the motor provides full torque at all speeds including stall. |
