My tug
My tug is an Austrian built tug named the Versital. I scratch build all my boats from the keel up. You might of seen it at the 2012 fall Inland Nautical Society Tug Fest Lake Evans at Fairmount Park. I'm very interested in other Regattas in the Inland Empire please contact me if you know of any. P.S. Does anyone sail in Menifee? I have seen old blogs about my tug hull and it is scratch built as all my boats and hulls are. 25 years ago that's just how I started boat building. Check out some pics

I used to sail at the San Diego model yacht pond but I'm in the inland empire now. Up hear it's great sailing at lake Evans.

Hey thanks for the kind reply. I borrowed some pics from the threads. I will be sailing at the irvine pond on sat. It will be my first boat parade. I will try and post some pics.

Hey thanks Kmot I think you have much better pics than I do of my own boat. My wife used the bow close up for her screen saver. You will have to say hi at the next regatta.

Kmot/Tom k thanks again for the fine pics. I checked out the video of you rebuild and bench test on that cool radial engine. That's top shelf! I have been wanting to start flying but as builder I don't want to crash any thing I put my best into. Maybe a foam to start with.
