After formatting the card from the camera, the test results were 4.4MB write and 16.5MB read. And I'm outside of my return window with Amazon. Not cool.

I've seen similarly slow speeds when I tested my scandisk card a few days back...currently awaiting delivery of my PNY card!

Very weird. I wonder if it's even a legit Sandisk card.

Ya that's the one. The price has been going up.
Got my first one on sale at Best Buy for $30. The 2nd one I bought
on amazon for $33. Now they're mid $40s.
Maybe the word has gotten out that they're better than Sandisk.

Has anyone as well had any problems with interferences of the tx-rx connection while the GoPro sent live pictures to an Iphone by wifi?

I had a 2sec and one 3sec interruption between my 2.4Ghz Futaba Tx and the quadcopter while flying about 30m high. Almost shat my pants... Could it be that if the distance between iPhone and gopro gets too big, that it looses connection and then the gopro searches for a signal with more power, so it could interrupt the 2.4Ghz TX-RX connection?

Thx for any advice! I didn't read all 78 pages, so I'm sorry if that issue has been dealed with before.

It's totally possible.

No, but as you get further away the radio's signal gets weaker, and at some point the receiver is "blinded" by the wi-fi that is still transmitting at full power right next to it.

Using a wi-fi device onboard a model controlled by a 2.4GHz R/C is a bad idea. Or put it very far from the receiver and antennas, at least 1m.

I use the iphone to start/stop recording but don't use the delayed live video and never have an issue even at 200-300m.
Try turning the preview off and see if that solves the problem.

Hi guys!
I have a silver edition camera that I use for fpv on a tricopter that I built. I bought a av out cable via ebay from China. As soon as I plug in the cable I get a horrible noise in the audio channel. The noise is both in my earplugs and on the recording on the sd card.
I belive I've tried disconnecting everything to find the source. Had separate battery to the tx, camera with and without battery and so on, but the noise starts as soon as I plug in the mini usb. Video transmission works allright though.
Have anyone noticed the same problem, or does anyone have any ideas about what to do about this?

Thanks, Tommy

it's quite possible you have a faulty cable and are getting some other signal into the audio channel
