Your work is done, you have a great flight controller, a great GPS, go out and start enjoying it.

Why isn't your USB working ? did you break the USB connector ? or something else preventing USB from working ?
It is on a 4 year old Dell Inspiron...driver issues I presume....I'll figure it out soon

Kewl!...now lets see how well I can tune

I knew it!

If you sit back and relax and read the information you may find that you have what you want but don't know it!

I haven't even powered up this board but know enough now to be dangerous!

Rotate each prop and see if the blades remain parallel to the flat surface. Try to adjust as needed to assure that all props are directing their thrust in a pure downward direction. If one if the motors is tilted to the left or right it will induce yaw in the machine. I have two Turnigy Talon frames and the motors become misaligned even after just a hard landing. I must keep a close eye on this and have found this to be a problem with those frames.

Hey, that is a great idea, THANKS, you are correct the Talon even after a minor crash misaligns the motors.

Thrust is hard to fight with torque alone. Heavy props would help in that effort.

It stopped being an issue once I stopped [permanently I hope] having crashes.

I am working on the HK H.A.L quad and hex at the moment. Waiting on parts to finish both.

I don't know, I see a few people in USA stocking stuff from Rctimer, I assume quicker shipping locally, although my experience with Rctimer has been darn FAST shipping to Australia, even the free shipping is fassst.

@RYBAT

An excellent tuning guide here
http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/ar...r-tuning-guide

Wear long welding gloves and eye protection.

For others, that tuning guide also applies 100% to MP NG

David gets a bit sensitive sometimes...Hell, he's barked at me before and I just barked back.....I would not worry about it...CC3D is what it is...excellent for flying smooth as silk and a real pilots flight controller. You can burn holes or fly smooth at a flick of a switch....what it will not do is RTH. HOLD or Nav.....Revo will...but is still immature in Nav Code....Revo Flys really well too....Nav is comming along...being tested, tweeked and adjusted....Some really kewl secret features are slowing rapid progress....but that's what OP Does....and really well when it is released.

My username over there is KWells
