After doing the Anderson Kingfisher that will be available from Zeke's Park Scale Models I have been looking at maybe doing another flying boat or float plane.
My question to you here in the forum is what would you like to see in a kit. I would like suggestions. Zeke has already done the Drake and we also have the Albatross. Would you like to see a WW I or WW II plane? What size would you want?
We really don't want to get into developing a plane that people wouldn't buy after spending hours in design work, so people here is you chance to tell us what you want and then we can poll the best plane.

LOL! I would have said do the Kingfisher, but you already read my mind! Do you have any links to the site or to pictures and pricing?

Second to that model, I would be most interested in a Schneider Cup racing float-plane. These are rarely available as kits or ARFs and I think it would fill a niche in an underserved area of the hobby.

No matter what you decide, I look forward to the next float plane from you!

There are a few options out there, but none that are economical (Sebart Macchi for example).

Bart I think the time investment on the Savoia would be huge on a plane that is not well known here in the states. The Seastar is interesting, but getting a solid wing mount might be tough. The Savoia S-21 is interesting with the design but again keeping the wing as well as the stabs attached to the fuse would require a serious amount of time to get right, and I do not see any amount of kits being sold for all the time one would need to spend in creating the plane.

Bart the Coronado looks interesting. I hesitate though on investing the time to create while we are awaiting any comment or orders of the Grumman Albatross.
