Have been practicing quad flying with Phoenix RC. I must admit it was pretty annoying at first. Had a rough time with it and almost gave it up. Then it clicked and now I seem to have a pretty good grip on it.

Frame is in

Frame came in this evening and I went and put most of it together. This ended up being a royal pain in the @$$. Poor instruction and misaligned parts made for an aggravating evening. This was a very sloppy product. Holes and slots had to be redone as well fit adjustments.

Well its done and now we wait 2 weeks for the electronics.

This project ended up as a flop. I built and outfitted the Quad. Flashed and programed the KK2 board. Board went belly up as I was finalizing the Quad.

Did some research and came to the conclusion this board has many quality control issues. That along with HK return issues made it a wipe. There is no way I would put expensive gear on a quad with a $27 control board that has many issues.

Quad is disassembled as of tonight. Parts for 4 more nice foamies...
