Ditto - I think there are many of us with that exact question in mind.

I generally prefer the way these foamies fly with a 9" prop and 2S over the 8" propand 3S.
I would definitely go for the19g motor, 5g saved is worth it. 2s and 9" is the way to go. Or even 8" if you have like 2300 kv motor.

I'm really liking the 19g on 2s and GWS 8.4.3. It's perfect!

+1 on the 19g and 2s 360mah 8x4.3 setup, great power with surprisingly long run times.

+1, it feels like a normal Crack Yak on 3S.

Chris - Cody - Cdee - David,

Do you prefer the GWS prop over the Tuff Prop?

Thanks,

JC

Never tried the tuff, I prefer the hd line of gws, i.e. The 8x4 or 9x5. They are more rigid/stable imho than the 8x4.3 etc. Better handle high power.

My Extra Slick is running a 1700kv on 2S (not a Twisted Motor) with the GWS 8x4HD prop. It's a different feel but I do like it.

However, my understanding is the new TH 1700kv motor's prop adapter fits the slow-fly props and not the direct drive props.

I'm game for whatever works best.

Thanks for the reply.

It just seems to be the most efficient prop on this motor. The tuff props are tougher but in this app I'll give up a little tough for the most performance.

. I don't have a good number yet but I'd guess 4-5.

Just ordered mine...can't wait to get it in the air. My original crack (from the first batch) has seen better days...it will continue to be used for days when I'm feeling destructive

I just updated the build pics with captions. The rest of the build pics are in my post a couple of posts after the first. Enjoy!
