Rant
When people post links on your for sale threads to theirs.

Hate it when people post links to their for sale threads on your for sale thread and email your potential buyers links to their threads. Bugs me SOOOOOOOOOOOO much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!! Ugh! And the person thats doing it better stop! What category would that be under to report someone?

Maybe trolling? I think Ebay called it auction interference.

If it's your thread just delete the comment?

I did but he emails the people that post on my thread asking about mine. I know because he accidentally or purposely sent me an email that said "Interested? Link to his for sale thread.".

Unethical? Yes.

Illegal or agianst TOS? No.

Give us the username of the guy doing that to you (and any proof that you have will help solidfy your case against him). Put his name here, so it can be found using the search feature, and many people will add him to their "do not do business with" list.

Against the rules? NO
Maybe it will end the issue? Maybe?

Before he is "outted" one question. Is it always NOT o/k to send an e-mail to other people who are looking for something and have posted in another thread? I've done it before and didn't think it was an issue. Done it twice this year, both when a person was looking for something and had made an offer along with many others and didn't get the item. I said I had what he was looking for if he was interested. Once it worked, the other time the guy said he found another one.

I hope you wrote him back and said sure I'm interested, but send me the item first and then I'll pay you later.....

I just sold the GP Super SkyBolt kits and a guy done that to me. He posted in my thread and a link to one that was advertised at a lower price. I imeadiantly deleted his post and in the reason why I put and I quote " GET OUT OF MY THREAD TROLL"
I probably should have reported it but I did not and he did not repost in my thread either.

May I suggest that you monitor your threads frequently and delete all unwanted post.

Yes, it be frustrating. Great info provided here illustrates many tools that you can use.

Best; Just delete. You have the option of adding a comment when deleting another RCG members post from you F/S thread. Best to not state anything then something condescending. If so, at least a neutral if not supportive comment is nice.

If one or more appear to "Troll" your F/S threads, then report them as such. Simple!!!

Oh Ryan, I see your trading rating gaining, like the growth of an Oak Tree. Good show.

Everyone hates Thread Crappers. Like buyers never heard of google to search the prices themselves. Just delete the posts quickly.

If they are linking to thier own FS threads report them and see if the mods will intervene.

In order to play fair,I just held an engine until another guy sold his...no biggie-I don't need to sell and maybe he does..
