The ONLY way you can succeed at this hobby is you must be able to change course in mid stride in order to make a plane fly better and what I have learned from my EMB-120 is its simply toooooo heavy!

And the solution isn't just to "put a bigger motor on it"?

Lol funny! . . .no sadly in this case that woln't work, I have to substatue a foam fuselage instead of a cardboard one for this these 145 and my 120, I'm having my friend SilverFox CNC 4" diameter foam fuse cross sections for me so I can use those instead.

The trick in using a cardboard tube for your Airliners fuse is you need to find one that's light enough, and there are plenty, but sadly not for this bird.

Good call with the foam cross sections DD, you'll never look back! Just make sure whatever glue you use is sandable, otherwise the seams will show through the covering. I used Foam-Tac when I built my 717, but would probably use 3M77 if I were to do it again.

That's precisely what I'm gonna do Rocket!, Only difference is the tail & nose section will still be fiberglass.

Looking good Sir!

My ERJ-145 have been Saved!

I Had The CNC master SilverFox router-out a Bunch of new Foam fuselage cross sections to replace the heavy Cardboard tubes, These will be stacked & epoxied and have one 3mm carbon fiber Rod link all the pieces. this new foam fuselage will be 1/4th the weight of the carboard tube.

The twin 145 build Is BACK!

sweet, now it just takes one less foam block to build a 135!

I bet the foam will be stronger and easier to repair in case of crash as well.

Yes indeed Sir!, The problem with the Old 4" cardboard fuselage was the wall of the cardboard .I.E. the thickness was to thick & heavy, so I had to resort to using foam instead.

I will also use this foam fuse on the EMB-120

Great Photo Sir, Nice 777!

Yeah I just wished I had a few extra minuets these days to give to my 2 145's I'm working on some Customers Orders this month.
