Today's flight in wind gusting to 20knots, not bad for a cheap chunk of foam, enjoy the footage, J.

Lot nicer flying off the wet sand today, probably the best surface, softer for the gear then grass or the sealed strips. The most dramatic stormy sky while I had couple of flights with not a soul in the sight. Might load the cap-cam video later.
Today there was also the most spectacular full solar eclips lasting 2min. up north in QLD, J.

Another great footage today by John the movie director flying my "Mirage". Only some 10min. before while flying "F-16" the wind was blowing in totally opposite direction, this weather is going bananas! Enjoy the footage, Joe.

Testing my latest "movie director" zoom-in helm/cam, bit tricky to calibrate with my vision, new footage soon, Joe.

Using my new "movie director" helm/cam, takes a bit of experimenting to calibrate it to my sight, enjoy the footage in very strong 25km/h easterly, Joe.

I was hoping to maiden my latest 1/4 size E-powered 3/D model but instead had to fly my faithful "Mirage". Blowing again, 30-50km/h wind gusts, it test you to the limit to bring it down in one piece. See the video next, J.

your mirage flies well. since you didnt glass it, be careful not to yank and bank to hard or the foam wing WILL snap on 8s.

heres shot of mine. fully glassed. 8s Ice 100. midi fan . etracts/struts blablabala

maiden flight video. later flights are very slow landing.

There is no way my wing would snap after my build, see the post #7. I always wonder why would anyone bother to glass foamy, the idea of foamies is to keep them light, there are plenty of glass models on the market. The only thing that will snap in this model will be my NEU motor in the time, Regards Joe.

............. Dang. That's a fast airplane. HET or ARC motor?

Joe, did you go with 8s power? - went back thru thread and didn't find what you ended up with for powerplant installation.
