If it is a Hurricane it needs to be spot on and not with the compromises mentioned earlier. E-Flite have pretty much got that one in the bag I think. I remember mentioning long ago why FMS hadn't brought out a Hurricane and now I think it may be too late.

I have the Dynam ME-262, The airframe flys outstanding. stuff like the fans, speed controls, retracts, and servo's could be better. FMS should of could of made one to fly 4s to 6s 10 blade 70mm with good retracts and the sales would of been there IMHO. You did say you do German airframe's right?

Let's sum it up a bit.

- It is a taildragger
- Has flaps and guns
- WWII
- Not made in foam in the 1000-1500mm range

So it is not going to be a Hurricane, Spitfire, Mustang, P-47, FW 190, P-40 or Me 109

Bernhard is German so, it could be a German plane , ...Me 110, Me 410, Ju 88
I doubt it is an Axis plane, though I would love one...but more probably an allied .....Eureka...it is a Gloster Gladiator...it's WWII..taildragger, have flaps on both wings and guns....not made in the 1000-1500mm range...dream, dream , dream

...my bet is a Typhoon

I sent a message to FMS on their Facebook page on October 4th about possibly doing a upgraded Corsair in Pappy Boyington's color scheme.
Here was the reply I received on October 10th:

Hi John, thanks for your great support to FMS, I would like to let you know that a very new 1400 F4U will be released in the near furture! Trust me, it is even more scale than P51 V7! Just wait for our good news soon!

Well it is nice to know that the corsair is gonna get a revamp hopefully with the scale flaps. I hope that there is still another aircraft being made besides the corsair.

The first post was a "new release". If it is the corsair that is an improved re-release.

The first 50 post listed these planes, edited to take out those already available in EPO foam between 1m and 1.5 m, those that are not tail draggers and those that did not fly in WW II. My vote...

190-D
Bear Cat
C-46 Commando
Sea Fury
P-51 B
P-51 A
P-47 Razorback
Tempest
Typhoon

This is why it's not these:
The F8F Bearcat and the Hawker Sea Fury were post WWII. The C-46 was a cargo plane. Not a warbird. FMS just released a P-51. I don't think they would immediately come out with a similar B or A version. They already have a P-47. But it is in need of updating. A razorback would be very cool! But like the P-51 it's already in their lineup. They just came off of a German warbird extravaganza for the last 10 months. Including a wonderful FW190. I don't think a FW190D will be it.

The only on that makes sense is the Tempest/Typhoon. No other manufacture makes one in that size. FMS already makes an 800mm version of it. It's the only 800mm warbird in their lineup that does not have a 1400mm counterpart. So they already have the CAD drawings. Easy to scale up! Would be super cool! They will get my money! We will see in November.

If it is indeed to be a total surprise, then why do folks like you even start a thread like this, which only invites speculation?

IMO, this thread is little more than a user saying "I know something that the rest of you don't!"

A Giant scale Grumman Avenger TBF would be nice after the SBD.

A SBD with dive flaps would be cool!
