Will an 11V 3s Lipo Fry This Motor?
 It's brushed from a 1/10 Scale RadioShack Hummer H2 as seen here
When I use a 3s 11v it's hella fast! The default battery is 7.2V It gets really hot with 3s and I've only used it for three minutes just to test, but is there a chance that the big motor will fry If I fully use the 3s? |

it will eventually fry. if the motor mount is plastic, (which i bet it is) you run the risk of warping the motor mount because of too much heat. it is risky to say the least.

You also have to consider the potential for damage to the circuit board... it wasn't designed for that much voltage or amperage.

yup... you would be better off with a 2s lipo, which is still able to provide alot more current than the stock nimh/nicd
