as a long time fisho im seeing alot of people selling there boats and going to kayaks maybe that could be a good choice for u? i dont know if anyone would see u out in the harbours but it would get u out and about the guys in the US paddle out to the oil rigs to chase big game fish on there kayaks

I'm there now holidaying. There are a couple of clubs I am aware of but haven't been there myself. Getting to Malaysia is easy if you have a car. Make sure your wife's job includes access to a car and parking. You won't really need to drive that much as the public transport is extensive reliable and cheap. Unfortunately the flying is not on their route. The very best part is the locals are very friendly and a bit of a chat with the guys in the Fook Hai building will get you sorted, it's easy to find. If the contract looks good, just do it you won't regret it. Expensive bits are, cars, rent and maybe education pretty much else is same or cheaper than Oz.
