Thought I would show the electronics that is going into the Corvet.
We have a Sabortooth RC ESC, it has forward, reverse, and turnning, means one motor slow's and the other speed's up, this with the rudder should make for some nice turns, It has a Bendini sound modual with 40 x 2 Amp twin speakers, the sound is twin Chev 454"s the sound is great. here is some pic's of the rough layout.

Your project is coming along really nicely. Another Sterling model saved. I built one as well and while reading your thread, I say that you are looking for fittings. The main scoops for the engine room are too rough to make look really nice.
I " borrowed" 2 table spoons from our kitchen drawer, flattened them a little and reshaped them to match the cast scoops. They are stainless steel and polish up perfectly like chrome. Since these are a major feature, I think this is a much better option.
These old cabin cruisers have so many beautiful curves. Have fun

Here are the best pictures I could find showing the scoops made from tablespoons.
If you still want the Sterling cast scoops, I;ll be glad to give you mine. You'll save time using the spoons and get a vastly different outcome.

Gary

Well,, here's an update on where I am with the corvet, when working without a set of plans to refer to now and then some things turn out bad, so you take two steps forward and three back I had to do the roof over, and the transum, which had nothing to do with the plans, that was my bad. Tim B and Corvett42 have been helping alot. I plan on painting the hull, the final coat this week and hope it come's outgood, and then top planking.
Regards Gary
