Managed to get the appendages fiber glassed. the weather is totally messing with my cures, after a 28 hr set, the resin is still soft.
Temps are dropping to or below 40f at night and the shop is not heated. Im using mixing cups so mixing ratio isnt the problem.

we get that problem up here in the winter, D. I made a hotbox to solve this problem. you can make it out of plywood with a tinfoil lining and a layer of foam, or go all out and make it out of bricks. it's heated by light bulbs and it works very well.

Yep you can get the thinner foam with foil on it and somw duct tape make a small box the parts will fit in. With a bulb or two. Or run a small heater by the parts being dried.

Not much going on here.
Finished fiberglassing all the parts,now i have to move onto the fus. Electronics are in the mail. |

Looking good, if you ask me balsa is the way to go for the intake lips. Unless you make a mold for them. Its way easier to get a nice balanced lip with balsa, foam not so much.

I would be willing to post my stations if enough interest is there. although doing this build I realized the entire air frame would benefit a 5-8% scale up, leaving the duct work in place or at current scale. Thicker walls, easier landing gear placements, better wing loading, etc... This would also bring the inlet opening back into scale. I tried to hard to bring this build somewhere close to dynams a-10
