not a scratch from that point back.

Ok I know its an obvious question and one I am sure you ruled out....

But you don't think its a receiver/transmitter issue do you? I'm supposed to go flying there with my coworker (he goes there a lot) but you have me spooked after your comments about that buried cable. Could that really be causing issues on 2.4 systems?

or its the fact airports run on a very close band as these 2.4 and with centennial airport being less then a mile away. alot of radio chatter im sure.

The fasst system dont seem to be effected out there.

but several members and regulars are all experiencing this stuff with the spectrum's, my first thought was all the carbon i was using, but the frogfoot built without no carbon to see if we can rule that out and i did.

yeah that's a good point. I went out there once and was surprised how close the overhead planes come in.

Now that you mention it, my coworker just lost 2 birds due to brown outs. I think he is on 72mhz however. Nonetheless they were not cheap models. He ended up sending his radio in because he ruled out receivers.

I'm going to see if he was flying out there when that occurred. I've been flying with a Frequency Switching 2.4 and have had no issues all summer/fall. But Cherry Creek has me spooked now. If I ever go out there I am going to take one of my quick build trainers and see what happens. (Not sure where else to fly with a decent runway)

Ive ruled those out. Its something keying in on signal. As it throws your planes into a right banks.
All glitches on the guai and footfoot were a right hand banks that i did not tell it to do.
I even experienced this right hand bank, without input on other of my crafts but brought them in as soon as i seen it. some were even belly landed out in the scruff cause i didnt want to chance a go around.

Panel lines look great and will weather with time even better.

Love it! And I love that simple EDF test stand. Don't know why I never thought of it surrounded by chunks of foam?
there not just surround by chunks of foam.

but have been cut to slip the units in. then are ratcheted tight with the Velcro.

What transmitter you have?
I fixed a DX5 with about the same problem. At first the plane would fly fine then it would go out of control after 2-3 minutes. Found out the regulator for the antenna amplifier had a broken leg. The connection was good enough until it heated up. The regulator legs was used to support the circuit board for the amplifier and did not have any other support. After fixing the broken leg and securing the board, no more problems.

that's why I prefer DXMX and my DX18 transmitter. no more brownout/signal loss issues with the dual antennae on the radio and on the receiver.
