D_Fast what is the angle position of the powering units? Are they 0-0 or are they inclined upwards? The original aircraft seem to have them inclined upwards.

I ran everything with the wet line so 0-0, you can revisit the fist page and see the wet line

i would say about 15% the intake fsa would be to slightly larger then 100% fsa but the exhaust would be right where you want the 10 bladers, at about 93%

paint scheme looks good!

seeing how quick this plane went together is making me contemplate building my a-10 from foam first before tackling the balsa design.

New Units

Panel lines completed, new units balance and installed, weathering 90% completed still debating on if i should even weather the top.

Thanks everyone for the inspiration and motivation to keep at this paint and detail. Its really paid off for me.

Love the sound of the new units! lots more woosh, but still has the whine of 64's. one units has a small mid range vibration, but with out a dynamic balancing machine im never getting that out.
Currently uploading a video of the units installed and ran up.

Weather man is telling me calm, and near 60fF. Got to love Colorado weather, 2 days ago, high 20F and snowing

New units are holding strong @ 72 combined amps and 1050 watts

Gonna try to make it out to the field today for another flight.
